~~Liam is Two!~~

Liam had a very fun birthday! We started out with a playdate at McDonald's with some of his little friends from church. Liam got to run around and eat a few nibbles of chicken nuggets and lick a little frosting from his turtle cupcake. Perfect start to his big day!

After his nap Gma and Gpa Workman came over for dinner. We had yummy chicken rolls of which Liam wanted nothing to do with.
I guess he was too excited for his PRESENTS because he just couldn't wait until everyone was done with dinner before he started opening. I guess when it is your birthday you get to call the shots sometimes.

Turtles were the theme this year because he loves his turtles (teetles as he calls them).

Here is his little turtle cake and decor. teetles everywhere! (actually not, because they were really hard to find.)

"I'm exhausted but I have to play one last time!"

Thanks to all who sent gifts and wished our little smiley Liam a happy birthday. He sure is loved!

Happy Birthday Sweet Boy!

First Days

Kael's first day of 1st Grade! He's growing up so fast!

Look how handsome and tall he is!
He loves his first grade teacher, Mrs. Cochran, he says she is even nicer than his Kindergarten teacher (which I didn't think possible because she was a really sweet fun lady.)
He is doing really well this year so far. He has had perfect scores on his spelling test and his teacher says he is a very good student, well behaved and very detailed in his work. Last night I was helping him with his homework and I can already see a really big improvement in his reading and math. So proud of him!

Kiera had a first day too. It was her first day of preschool!
Doesn't she look so pretty?
Here she is in front of her school:
She was so excited. Several times since her first day of school I have heard her say her teachers' names (Miss Laura and Miss Sandi) while she is playing. I guess she likes it so much that she make believes preschool too!

And finally Liam had his first day of freedom without those pesky siblings to take away all his toys. He loves to wander around the house and discover all the toys in Kael and Kiera's rooms.

Red dress

My new pretty dress from my Mom and Dad.

It has been a while since I've had a picture with my kiddos. Somehow we got them all (mostly) smiling at the same time!

(Don't judge me that my poor little blog has not been updated since, um, march. What?!?)

Kiera's 4th Birthday!

She's growing up! Already four and such a beauty.
Shots of her pretty pink and brown birthday and her party the next day:
Posing with all her presents.

Opening those gifties; playdough is always a hit!
Pink and Brown Owl cake, what else?

Make a wish!

Table before the party started.

All her friends, ready to decorate some cupcakes!

Owl Pinata! Pull the strings, but this owl was tricky~she didn't want to let go of her treats. I had to rip her open and dig the treats out!

More Presents! Thank you friends!

The fun's not over yet, at the end all the silly girls went outside to blow bubbles!
What a fun day, Happy Birthday my sweet Kiera!

Brian's Birthday

He's 34 now!

{Feb 24th}
That upgrades his cake to 'forest fire' status.

Speaking of upgrades, his big gift this year was an Xbox360 with Kinect and all the whosiswhatsits that it comes with. He was SHOCKED! Thanks to all those that made it possible!
